This year is my 30^th year working in the family business.  Many things have changed in those 30 years, especially in the way we communicate with our customers, employees and the world in general. When I first started working here, everyone was given a $5.00 roll of dimes each week so we could call in from any of the lovely, clean and conveniently located telephones in the Philadelphia area.  We were one of the first trucking companies in the area to install 2 way radios in our vehicles giving us a huge competitive advantage.  Next was the cell phone which we started using as a service improvement tool back in 1987 when a typical cell call was a dollar per minute. More recently we have added GPS tracking technology where we can communicate via the internet with our drivers while having precise tracking and locating ability, all in the name of maintaining and improving customer service while reducing our cost to serve you.
